Chaudhary Dental Care

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

1. Introduction

Chaudhary Dental Care (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates an online dental appointment booking service. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our service, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to book and manage your dental appointments:

  • Contact details: your name and mobile (WhatsApp) phone number.
  • Appointment details: the dates, times, and any notes you provide when booking, along with the status of your appointment.
  • Verification data: one-time passcodes (OTPs) used to confirm your phone number. OTPs are stored only in hashed form and for a short time.
  • Feedback: ratings and reviews you choose to submit after a visit.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Create, confirm, reschedule, and cancel your appointments.
  • Verify your identity during booking and account access using one-time passcodes.
  • Send you service messages over WhatsApp — such as booking confirmations, reminders, cancellation notices, no-show rebooking links, and post-visit review requests.
  • Improve our service and respond to your requests.

4. WhatsApp Messaging

We send appointment-related messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform (provided by Meta) to the phone number you supply. These are transactional service messages tied to your bookings. We do not sell your number or use it for third-party advertising. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. You can stop receiving messages at any time by contacting us using the details below.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, and only to the extent necessary:

  • Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform): to deliver your appointment messages and verification codes.
  • Our hosting and database providers: to securely store your booking information.
  • Legal authorities: when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

6. Data Retention

We keep your appointment and contact information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal or record-keeping obligations. One-time passcodes are deleted or expire shortly after they are issued. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and hashing of sensitive verification data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

8. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop sending you messages. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is intended for use by adults booking dental appointments. Where a booking is made on behalf of a minor, it should be done by a parent or guardian.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
